Comment Guidelines

This blog is about the American Library Association, its members, where we’re all at, how we got here, and where we’d like to go. Think of it as an insider’s travel guide to how ALA works – the good, the bad, and the ugly. Anyone with something to contribute is invited to participate in the comments. There are only a few basic rules:

  • * Please stay on topic.
  • * No defamatory remarks about other people.
  • * No advertisements or spam.
  • * No politics external to ALA.
  • * No organizing boycotts.

Content violating these rules will be removed. These rules are necessary to respect each other and to maintain ALA’s nonprofit status, but they still leave a lot of room for active sharing, so please join in!
