Emily Ford
Hi. I’m a Reference Librarian at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Prior to this I worked as the Project Director for Oregon Health Go Local at Oregon Health & Science University.
In 2007 I received an MLS and an MIS from Indiana University Bloomington’s School of Library and Information Science.
My experience with ALA began as a member of the 2008 class of Emerging Leaders. Now I’m a new co-editor of RUSA Update, and I serve on the Washington Office Committee on Legislation Copyright Subcommittee in addition to this task force.
Professional interests: copyright, open access, scholarly communication, reference services
Things that make me cringe: the words “webinar” and “web 2.0”
Penchants: food & drink, bicycling, and fuzzy animals
