Building Community in a Connected Age: Fulfilling Our E-State Potential

A new facilitator’s guide to building community in a connected age is now available from the Snelling Center for Government at the University of Vermont, in conjunction with Champlain College and Everyday Democracy.

Here’s the blurb about the Facilitator’s Guide posted by Everyday Democracy at: http://www.everyday-democracy.org//Exchange/Guide.43.aspx

  • “This guide is designed to help citizens deliberate about ways to use e-state technology to help enhance community and civic life. The guide was designed to be used during a one day symposium and includes an exploration of community, scenarios to help explore e-state opportunities and challenges, an exercise to identify e-state values, and opportunities to identify action steps.”

Copies of the pdf guide are available on the Everyday Democracy web site at the URL listed above.
